Why buy art?

Art is a weapon it’s not simply an object to decorate apartments, Picasso once said. Art is one of the most powerful means of experiencing emotions and ideas. Collecting art can be an engrossing and exciting way of engaging with ideas, and a stimulating way of seeing the world in fresh ways – especially when meeting the artists and personally connecting with their work. Art can inspire thought and questions in adults and children alike, engaging the viewer to think and learn about the subject matter. An artwork can inspires you to look at things in a different way. 

A main characteristic of my paintings are the infinite textures and rich granulations made from the unpredictable behave of the medium, made up of selected natural pigment,  these qualities are hard to see in a photo or reproduction hence why an original painting is so special. Buying art supports artists directly, allowing them to continue with their creative process, which in turn continues to improve the quality of life for all of us.
